AMSA is a registered charity. It is a collection of parents, teachers and friends of the school, and exists to promote both social and fund-raising activities.

During this the final year of Addingham Middle School, AMSA is keen to support cultural events and activities rather than to make capital purchases.

It has pledged to support the following exciting activities for pupils during 1999/00:

• Year 7 Visit to the Energy Museum

• Visit by History Theatre Group

• Year 8 Visit to the Globe Theatre in London

• Performance of Indian Dance

• Year 7 Art trip to the Colour Museum, Bradford

• Artist in Residence

• Maintain Internet link
